Module Description

This MQF Level 3 Award is designed to help learners achieve an advanced command of the Maltese language, enabling them to communicate with confidence and accuracy across personal, social, and professional settings.

It focuses on refining all four language skills — reading, writing, listening, and speaking — while expanding learners’ vocabulary and improving their ability to use Maltese fluently in diverse real-life contexts. Learners will work with a variety of texts and themes, strengthening their comprehension and developing the ability to express complex ideas clearly and appropriately.

The course also introduces more sophisticated grammar structures, encouraging precise and effective use of the language in both spoken and written tasks. Interactive activities such as discussions, presentations, listening tasks, and structured writing exercises will build learners’ critical thinking and communication skills, preparing them to use Maltese naturally, persuasively, and with growing independence.
