Interreg VI-A Italy-Malta is a cross-border cooperation programme that strengthens collaboration between Sicily and Malta, aiming to foster smart, sustainable, and inclusive growth in the central Mediterranean region.

The programme focuses on enhancing research and innovation capacities, promoting environmental protection and climate change adaptation, supporting sustainable tourism and cultural heritage, and improving governance and institutional cooperation.

GO4CIRCULAR: Malta-Sicily Circular Economy Initiative for SMEs

GO4CIRCULAR is a cross-border initiative under the Interreg Italy–Malta Programme, supporting agri-food and textile SMEs in embracing circular economy principles.

By connecting Malta and Sicily, we aim to:

  • Improve resource efficiency
  • Strengthen sustainable business models
  • Build long-term environmental and economic resilience.
