Module Description

The aim of the Research Project is to assess students on their capability of applying the learnings obtained from the previous modules, combined with practice. Participating in the project will enable the student to develop deeper knowledge, understanding, capabilities and attitudes in the context of the studies undertaken.

This project requires students to make use of their acquired skills to analyse an identified real-life problem within the care field. This problem may be identified through literature or by the tutor assigned. The results of the project will eventually be presented to peers and to the lecturer though an individual or groupwork presentation.

Entry Requirements

  • A qualification at MQF Level 4 (one ‘A’ Level or equivalent) in Care or a related field and English Language at MQF Level 3 (‘O’ Level or equivalent).

Such RPL process will subject applicants to an interview held with a board of experts within the field, chosen specifically by IDEA College, so as to verify their experiences and prior learning.
