Situation Vacant | Full-time lecturers and freelance Clinical Supervisors

Idea Academy offers Certificate and Diploma in Health Sciences – Nursing Programme which includes clinical placements in various health settings and nursing simulation practice at Idea Academy in Mosta.

We are currently recruiting:
1. Full-time Lecturers
2. Freelance Clinical Supervisors for Simulation Practice
3. Freelance Clinical Supervisors for Clinical Placement

Eligibility Criteria

1. Full-time Lecturers

  • Registered nurse
  • Level 7 Degree in a discipline related to the Study Programme/Module
  • A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in within the sector covered by the Study Programme
  • Strong presentation skills
  • MQF Level 6 qualification with 10 years’ work experience may also be considered.

2. Freelance Clinical Supervisors for Simulation Practice and Clinical Placements

  • Registered first level nurse;
  • A minimum of two-years work experience as a registered nurse in Malta
  • A minimum MQF Level 6 qualification in nursing.

For the Clinical placements, the registered nurse must be currently working in one of the following Health Settings:
1. Medical Care
2. Surgical Care
3. Elderly Care
4. Mental Health Care
5. Community Care
6. Mother and Child Care
