IDEA Academy’s Training to Industry initiative introduces the transformative Student Placement Scheme (SPS), a dynamic bridge between academic learning and practical industry application. Targeted at both international full-time students at IDEA Academy and local industry partners, the SPS is designed as a mutually beneficial programme, fostering an enriched learning experience. The scheme spans 150 hours, offering students an immersive opportunity to acquire hands-on experience and essential skills in a professional working environment. This invaluable experience propels students into full-time employment with a distinct advantage, aligning their academic knowledge with real-world practices.

Before commencing the SPS, students will have the opportunity to attend the IDEA Job Readiness Programme. This 50 hrs pre-placement programme, focuses on professional development, ensuring students are well-equipped for the challenges of the workplace.

For industry partners, the SPS serves as a strategic avenue to actively address skills mismatches and cultivate a workforce that is better prepared for the demands of the contemporary business landscape.
