Hospitality Innovation and Business Development
Module Description
Students of this module will examine relevant theories, processes and practices associated with innovation and sustainability in hospitality industry to address the challenge of creating and sustaining competitiveness in this fast-paced industry.
This module covers a range of different innovation and sustainability concepts and how these can help in business development and creation of new revenue opportunities.
Entry Requirements
Candidates who apply for this course must possess the following:
- a qualification at MQF Level 4 (one ‘A’ Level or equivalent in any subject);
AND
- a pass in English Language and Mathematics at MQF Level 3.
Preference is given to applicants having a year of work experience in an area related to this study programme.

How you’ll be assessed
The method of assessment is assignment-based.
The module comprises
- 6 lectures per module;
- 3-hour lectures (evening);
- 12 hours of online content per module, comprising synchronous online discussions, tutorials and/or videos.
