Industrial Engineering Techniques
Module Description
This module focuses on the implementation of the basic concepts and methodology of Industrial Engineering at the workplace.
During this module the learner will get familiar with the different Industrial Engineering techniques which can be applied at various stages of the supply chain, such as planning and control. This module tackles work studies and the impact of the human factor on it.
Through this module, the learner will gain a better understanding of work measurement, the techniques used, and actual application of these.
Entry Requirements
Candidates who apply for this course must possess the following:
- a qualification at MQF Level 4 (one ‘A’ Level or equivalent in any subject),
AND
- a pass in English and Mathematics at MQF Level 3 (‘O’ Level or equivalent) .
Preference is given to applicants having a year of work experience related to the field of study.
*Equivalent qualifications abroad will also be considered for admission.

How you’ll be assessed
The course comprises:
- 6 lectures per module;
- 3-hour lectures (evening);
- 12 hours of online content per module, comprising synchronous online discussions, tutorials and/or videos.
